Finding the beauty of being

Romanticize a new way to find beauty.

First of all, we need to know what "romanticize" means, and the meaning is
to think about or describe something as being better or more attractive or interesting than it really is: to show, describe, or think about something in a romantic way.

Actually is not difficult to do so if you think about it.

But What Can I romanticize?

  •  Make a Pinterest board. Wake up early and grab a latte from a local coffee shop. Dress like a poet. Become immersed in classical music. Occasionally, allow reality to be all-consuming in order to push through the worst.

If the life of a romantic, a poet, or a scholar resonates then, make life about it. Those LED lights can turn into candles if one only sets his or her mind to them.

  • Study things you are interested in, romanticize college life, play (or try to learn like me) a board game like chess.

  • Read as much as you can, try poetry. You can read Elegía by the poet Miguel Hernández (my favorite one),"A una rosa" by Góngora, "A un olmo seco" by Antonio Machado, etc.

  • Watch movies and series, I highly recommend you to watch Heartstopper (you can find it on Netflix), The society of dead poets (a very old movie), Outlander, Bridgerton, or Pride and Prejudice.

  • Find beauty in everything. For example, when you wake up don't use your phone immediately instead stretch, watch the sunrise, and prepare your breakfast.

For today is all, I hope you like it and you are encouraged to do one of the recommended activities. Have a nice day, take care of your health, drink water <3

But don't leave without asking the following question:
Do you have any quotes (from books, poems, or movies) that you would like to share?

  3. Hi Isa I found this article somewhat interesting. I liked the idea of romatizing things so that they look better than they are.

My quote is from a movie: (It's in spanish).

"Me he subido a mi mesa para recordarme que siempre hay que mirar las cosas de un modo diferente".
